About Me

I graduated from the University of Texas and Texas State University in the late 1990’s with a degree in Journalism and degree in Anthropology. Shortly thereafter I became a television news reporter and bi-lingual weather anchor for FOX 34 and Telemundo.

My whole life I was what you would call an “overachiever”, yet no matter what I did was miserable and unfulfilled. One day, I decided to change my life, and as a result quit the news business. For about a year, I soul searched and during that time instead of filling out job applications everyday, I found myself in front of my piano. I began writing music non-stop for about a year. In that time I ended up composing more than 30 songs.

With no idea of where this would lead me, (and if someone would have told me, I would never have believed them!), I ended up meeting three talented musicians who wanted to form a band. After a few months of jamming, we decided to form a band and called ourselves Bocastria. Soon after, I began to delve deeper into my thoughts about life and started working with internationally renowned life coach, Ellen Goldhar.

From there everything just went into warp speed.

Along with Ellen, another important life coach, Joshua Zuchter entered my life and has also had a profound impact. Joshua is a premier life coach and author and one of the brightest individuals I have ever met.

In just one short year of playing as a group, Bocastria recorded its first cd with a Latin Grammy nominee, the live music capital of the world, Austin, TX, awarded the band with its very own day, Bocastria made several appearances on major TV networks such as FOX 7, ABC-Austin, Prime Time Tejano, and ME Television, and the band’s first music video received rotation in different markets across the nation featured in several festivals and showcases.

Through my own studies of how our thoughts create our realities, I began to see amazing changes take shape and can attribute all the success above to that inner work that I have been committed to through my own searching and work with my two life coaches.

As a result, I decided to become a life coach in addition to composing and singing my music. In 2007, I completed my life coach training with Ellen Goldhar.

I now share my realizations and techniques with those I was like just a few years ago. Besides the music, nothing brings me more joy than to see the impact it has in people’s lives. I teach what I practice EVERYDAY!

As the student, who has now become a teacher, I am here to help get you on the path to your happiness. What are you waiting for?
